Palm Island, Dubai is an attractive resort that has been built as a result of continuous innovation and creativity. This resort is actually a combination of three islands namely Palm Jebel Ali, Palm Jumeirah and Palm Deira. This place is considered to be such an important place that it is sometimes referred to as the eighth wonder of the world. Among the three islands, Palm Deira is the biggest and is located to the east of another innovative project named "The World Islands". With the establishment of such an important hotspot, Dubai is sure to become one of the most sought after tourist spot in the world.
Burj Al Arab - Luxury Hotels in Dubai |
This project was introduced for the sole purpose of promoting tourism in Dubai by trying to create a place which is unique of its kind with lots of world class services and facilities. In the initial stage of its construction, only Palm Jumeirah was planned but after that Palm Jebel Ali was announced as the second island to be part of the Palm Island. The Palm Island has lots of beachfront residences where people can live their personal life without any disturbance. All three islands have a trunk which can be considered as the main gate that leads to the fronds or palm leaves of each of these islands.
At the outer edge of all the three palm islands, an artificial dock has been established. A crescent is one that consists of a number of luxury shopping complexes, hotels, sports facilities, etc. In addition to the fact that Palm Deira is the biggest of the Palm Islands, it is also the most attractive of the three housing a large number of facilities. It is also the last island that was integrated into the Palm Islands.
Another important feature of the Palm Islands is that Palm Jumeirah includes a pair of islands known as the Logo Islands. These two islands look alike and take the shape of a palm leaf. These two islands are considered as the personal islands of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoom, the Prime Minister of UAE.
The Palm Islands has surely attracted many people around the world and is regarded as one of the greatest artificial tourist spot that has ever been created. It sure brings Dubai to the top of the hotspot list by a few ranks.
It sure looks like Dubai is concentrating more on tourism and it seems like each new project that is being developed outclasses the previous ones. This also serves as a boost to Dubai's economy and also provides plenty of employment facilities. It all becomes clear that all these innovative projects are targeted around tourists and leaves them very little time to take a nap.
